A Note To Our Clients:

We are not the cheapest home inspector – or the most expensive – however, we do offer the best value. Our inspections include many things other inspectors charge extra for like drone inspections, thermal imaging, and testing for combustible gas leaks. Our inspections take longer than the average home inspector because we spend more time inspecting and writing to find potential problems for our clients. You will see the value in our thorough and easy to read reports.

Home inspection fees are worth the peace of mind and can actually save you money. If you’re buying a home what you don’ t know can hurt you, financially. The goal of a home inspection is to find problems with the house prior to purchase. That way you can make an informed decision whether to continue through with the purchase of the house or negotiate the price of the problems located. If you do not get a home inspection and purchase the house any problems found after the sale are your responsibility and it would be too late to negotiate or back out of the deal. There are rare occasions when we do a home inspection and don’t find problems with a house that add up to many times more than the cost of the home inspection. This gives you the ability to negotiate the price down thus making the home inspection cost you nothing and actually saving you more money. For example, if we locate a roof problem that would cost $2000 to fix it certainly makes a home inspection costing several hundred dollars well worth it.

If you’re selling a home having a pre-listing home inspection saves you money by giving you the ability to have problems with your home identified before listing it for sale. It allows you the flexibility to repair any problems you wish and usually for a lower cost than having them done during a negotiation with a buyer. It also sends the message to the buyer that you are upfront and honest about the house making the sale process easier and often allowing you to sell the home for more money than without a pre-listing home inspection.
